Because of this, it is a good idea to use protein with minimal ingredients and artificial sugars and chemicals.

Elvis Peanut Butter Banana Shake


Elvis Presley, the singer from the 1950s, wasn’t known for his excellent health, but he sure loved to eat. This protein shake is based on the peanut butter, banana, and honey sandwich he used to love. It is also a great lactose-free option for those that cannot have dairy.
I know he used to like bacon on his sandwich too, but I don’t think that would go well with this shake 🙂
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (vanilla)
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tbsp peanut butter powder
- A handful of ice cubes
Blend until smooth, and enjoy!
Orange Dreamsicle
This is a great smoothie to replace the taste of having an orange creamsicle bar.
It is also double-packed with protein since it has a protein powder and Greek yogurt.
Ingredients
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1 whole orange peeled
- ½ cup nonfat greek yogurt
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
- A handful of ice cubes
Blend until smooth, and enjoy!
Chocolate Milkshake
I am a sucker for a good chocolate milkshake and a burger. With this recipe, you can have healthy lean turkey burgers for dinner and a nice Chocolate Milkshake for dessert!
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (vanilla)
- 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
- 1 tsp of cocoa powder
- A handful of ice cubes

Popeye’s Spinach Smoothie (vegan)


Popeye was known for his strength and forearms, and this recipe will also make you strong without having to eat a can of spinach. This may be one of our Favorite Fat Loss Protein Shake Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (vanilla)
- 1 scoop of vegan protein powder
- 1 green apple
- 1 handful of spinach

Berry Blast
This smoothie is great because it’s packed with lots of berries but keeps the calories lower. It’s also loaded with tons of vitamins, minerals, and fiber to keep you full throughout the morning.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (vanilla)
- ½ cup nonfat greek yogurt
- ½ cup of frozen mixed berries

Horchata
This is my take on a Mexican favorite. If you’re not familiar, Horchata is a Mexican drink that is made from rice.
It is very sweet but also has a dash of cinnamon. Because this recipe uses rice milk, it is pretty close to the taste of a real Horchata!

- 1 cup unsweetened rice milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- A handful of ice cubes
